THE TRANSMISSION
The body knows before the mind agrees
Everything is in a state of vibration. The body is a vessel that holds frequency, and it registers a shift in the field long before the mind has language for it. This is the whole of the work at Sound Space Portal, and after four decades of listening it remains the simplest thing I know: when the outer field moves, the inner field answers. We gather on these nights because the answering is easier in company, and easier with sound.
This particular night carries unusual amplitude. The Moon stands full in Aquarius, the water carrier, whose vessel is only useful once it has been emptied. Opposite it the Sun sits fused with Jupiter at the very same degree, a rare doubling that makes whatever surfaces impossible to look away from. The old symbol for this degree is a child stepping out of the shell that made its growing possible. The shell did its work. The crack is the evidence the work is finished.
You do not need to follow any of that to feel it. The sky sets the theme and the bowls do the carrying. Your only task is to lie down and let the field do what it already knows how to do.

There are nights when the sky does the work of a mirror, and this is one of them.
The Leo Sun asks you to bring forward the gifts you have been given, the ones only you can bring. The Aquarius Moon asks who it is for. Between them sits everything you have been holding quietly, waiting for the right moment to set it down.

We gather for one evening to meet this moon consciously, through ceremony, release, and the resonance of alchemy crystal singing bowls. The sky is already doing this. We come together to feel the energy.

We gather in circle, arrive in the body, and set down the pace of the day. A grounding ritual to mark the threshold between ordinary time and moon time.
The naming
A guided reflection on what has been incubating in you, and how long the shell has been cracked while you kept fitting it back together.
Breath of the water carrier
Simple, accessible breathwork to open the vessel. Nothing strenuous, nothing performed. Only enough to soften what is held.
The emptying
A release ceremony held in the depth of the Moon-Pluto conjunction. What you pour out here, you leave here.

Questions, answered
I have never done sound work. Is this for me?
Completely. Nothing is required of you but to lie down and receive. The sound journey asks for no skill, no posture, and no prior practice. First-timers and long-time practitioners are held in exactly the same way.
Do I need to know anything about astrology?
Not at all. The sky sets the theme for the evening, and everything you need to understand it will be spoken aloud as we go. You are welcome to arrive knowing nothing about Aquarius or cazimi and still feel every part of this.
What actually happens in a crystal singing bowl journey?
You lie down, comfortable and covered, and the bowls are played around and above the circle. The sound moves through the body rather than only the ears. Most people experience deep rest, and many report the quality of sleep that follows as the most noticeable effect.
Can I bring a friend or partner?
Yes, and many do. Please register each guest individually so we can hold a place for everyone. This evening makes a beautiful shared experience.
What should I wear and bring?
Dress in soft layers you can lie down in comfortably. Bring a blanket to lie under, a journal, and any sacred item you wish to have near you. Yoga mats and pillows are provided. Please arrive hydrated and free of stimulants, drugs or alcohol. The room will be warm and dim.
What if I have an accessibility or mobility need?
Write to us before you register and we will make sure you are cared for. Chairs and supported positions are available, and the entire practice can be received seated.
