How to Prepare for Your Sound Journey
Preparation is not about doing more. It is about allowing the body to arrive without interference.
Before your session, consider the following:
Physical Readiness
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to fully relax. You will be lying down for the duration of the experience.
VIRTUAL AND REMOTE SESSIONS
Prepare your space to receive the transmission by using a headset (wired preferred), dim the lights or turn them off, light some incense or timed diffuser; if it is the end of the day, prepare yourself for sleeping as this is an excellent way to fall into deep rest.
Substances
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or other stimulants prior to your session. A clear system allows the body to respond more fully to sound.
Arrival
Plan to arrive 10 minutes early. This supports a smooth transition into the space and respects the shared experience of the group.
Comfort
Bring a blanket and eye mask if you have them. The more physically supported you feel, the more deeply you can settle.
Optional Additions
You are welcome to bring:
A journal for insights before or after
Personal items such as crystals or talismans
Closing Note
There is nothing you need to achieve. Simply arrive, lie down, and allow the sound to meet you where you are.
